A CAR burst into flames outside a school in Brighton Hill.
The fire took place at 3pm yesterday, in the joint slip road for Brighton Hill Community School and the Powerleague complex, in Brighton Way.
Two men were in a red hatchback when its engine caught fire. They managed to get out of the car before the flames spread and were not injured.
Four firefighters from Basingstoke fire station spent 30 minutes at the scene putting out the fire.
