THE police in Overton received 40 calls during August, of which eight were in relation to crime.
The incidents during the month included one burglary of a non-dwelling, two reports of criminal damage, two assaults, one drug offence, one theft and a theft of a motor vehicle.
Three reported crimes occurred during this year’s CarFest when a domestic assault was dealt with at the scene, one man was found in possession of herbal cannabis, and a caravan was reported to have been trashed.
