DISGUSTED residents were left in shock after a sex-doll was seen hanging out a window of a hotel in Hook.
Passer-bys couldn’t believe their eyes when they looked up at The White Hart at Hook, in London Road, to see a naked, inflatable doll in the window of the hotel.
The doll was seen to have his latex manhood poking out of the window, with a shutter covering his face.
Readers contacted The Gazette to express their horror at seeing the doll with one labelling it “horrid”.
Jay John Rose told The Gazette it was “absolutely inappropriate” for that time of the morning.
He added: “There’s a local school here so children walking past in the morning might have seen it.
“I had a word with the hotel this morning and asked them to get rid of it and in the end they did. It’s ridiculous.”
The White Hart at Hook, which brands itself a 16th Century coaching inn, is a few streets away from Hook Junior School and Hook Infants School.
The Gazette contacted Hook Infants School, which said it was “unaware” of the situation and had received no complaints.
A spokesman for the White Hart: “We cannot apologise enough to anyone who was offended by this.
“It’s completely inappropriate.
“The item has been removed and we are investigating how this could have happened.”
