A BASINGSTOKE drug driver has been banned from getting behind the wheel for three years.
Gary Bennett, of Cliddesden Road, on Friday, September 22, last year, drove a Chevrolet Captiva in Jefferson Road, Basingstoke.
It was found that he had 521 micrograms of benzoylecgonine per litre of blood - the legal limit is 50.

The 59-year-old pleaded guilty on Monday, January 15, and during the same hearing, at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court, he was disqualified from driving for three years.
A fine of £300, court costs of £85 and a surcharge fee of £120 must also be paid.
