A BANNED driver from Basingstoke has been handed penalty points for taking to the roads.
Carl Syrett, of Quilter Road, on Wednesday, January 17. drove a silver Nissan Note on Quilter Road while disqualified.
The 38-year-old also had no insurance.

During a hearing held at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, February 14 ,Syrett pleaded guilty to both offences.
Magistrates handed him six penalty points and ordered a surcharge fee of £48 and court costs £40 to be paid.
