A BASINGSTOKE man who allegedly damaged equipment in a police interview room has appeared in court.
Police received reports that the glass doors at the Texaco petrol station on Churchill Way West had been sprayed with suspected flammable liquid on Sunday, February 25.
A man was arrested, and whilst in custody, allegedly damaged recording equipment inside an interview room.

Graeme Walton, 56, of Lundy Close, was charged with attempted arson with intent to endanger life and criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
Walton appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Tuesday, February 27 and was remanded into custody.
He is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, March 27.
