Farnborough 'keeper Jean-Zephirin hits defender Stevens with an attempted clearance and the ball breaks to Smart on the right. He crosses the ball in and while it is flicked away from Draper, Frewen has time to take a touch and find the far corner at the back post.

80 min - The visitors are having a good spell of pressure but Town manage to get the ball down the other end of the field and Ciardini is booked for a foul on Smart.

74 min - Town make their final change, with Nathan Smart replacing Pattison.

73 min - Bubb puts in a dangerous low cross that goes just wide of the far post.

71 min - Adams is unable to continue due to the knock he picked up when McDonald was sent off. He is replaced by Gary Frewen, with Warner dropping to left-back and Hankin moving into the centre of defence.

65 min - Ciardini given the time to shoot in the area, but he drags his effort well wide.

61 min - Red card - McDonald and Ross Adams go for a loose ball on the edge of the Town box. The Farnborough striker went in with two feet, just like Pratt, and he gets the same treatment from the referee.

56 min - Farnborough work a short corner and McMahon's cross finds the head of McDonald, who looks certain to score but is denied by Robert Rice on the line. Farnborough claim he was behind the line, and it was mighty close, but the referee signals for a corner.

53 min - Adams booked for a foul on Gary Holloway. From the resulting free-kick, Bubb smashes a low shot at goal that Tardif fumbles around the post.

48 min - Red card - David Pratt goes in for a tackle on Ciardini. The referee decrees it was two-footed and sends the Town striker off, while Jamie Stevens is booked for retaliating to the challenge

46 min - No changes for either team as Farnborough kick off the second half, with Town shooting towards the clubhouse end.

Gray will be the happier of the two managers after seeing his side play some good stuff - but Farnborough look dangerous going forward.

44 min - Nicholas Ciardini goes on a good run from left-back, beating Lake comfortably before being crowded out in the box.

43 min - Daryl McMahon booked for foul on Pattison.

40 min - Sean Hankin booked for foul on McDonald.

33 min - Farnborough goalkeeper Dominique Jean-Zephirin is booked after sliding out of his area with the ball in his hands.

22 min - Warner does well to win a corner, which breaks to Gasson on the edge of the box. His volley is headed straight up in the air and Hankin gets his head to the ball as it comes down - but the defender's effort goes narrowly wide.

16 min - Real scare for Town as Dean McDonald beats Hankin down the right. His effort is blocked but Bradley Bubb looks set to score, only to be denied by a great tackle from Gasson, with Chris Tardif doing brilliantly to tip McDonald's effort from close range over the bar.

Kenzie Ibe then causes problems down the right, putting in a low cross that Rice does well to smuggle away from under his own bar.

7 min - Matt Pattison gets in down the right after being put through by Pratt. He gets past the left-back but his final effort is a disappointing effort that skews well wide.

3 min - The game kicks off in bright sunshine, with Basingstoke shooting towards the Town end. For the first time this season, they start the better side, with Matt Warner putting a free-kick narrowly wide.

TEAM NEWS: Frank Gray has made three changes to the side who beat Dorchester on Monday - but retains the 4-5-1 formation.

Sean Hankin comes in at left-back to replace the injured Matt Finlay, while Tom Williamson comes in for Jide Ogunbote in the centre of the park and Matt Warner replaces Gary Frewen on the left.
