Game abandoned

Referee Adrian Quelch has changed his mind and abandoned the game.

It's apparently some sort of spine or neck injury that Morris has suffered. Fingers crossed he can make a full recovery.

The game will restart in 15 minutes, with 34 minutes left to play.

Morris is in the ambulance now and the players are warming up to start again.

The paramedics are here now and treating Morris on the pitch. Several Maidenhead supporters gave their coats to cover the stricken 'keeper - fair play to them. No sign of the referee calling the game off at the moment.

63 min - Play has been suspended and an ambulance is on its way.

62 min - Morris has been down since the last entry after suffering what looks like a serious injury. He's not moved since and has been replaced by Stuart Lake. There's no 'keeper on the bench, so Pattison is going in goal.

56 min - Smith goes through for Maidenhead and Morris is out bravely to save at his feet, with Reynolds clearing the danger.

Town goal - A miss-hit corner comes up trumps for Town. It's scuffed to the near post, where it's turned towards goal and Sam-Yorke pounces to find the net from six yards.

54 min - GOAL - Basingstoke Town 1 (Sam-Yorke) Maidenhead United 1

53 min - Pattison hits the post for the second time in the match, his low shot taking a deflection and then slipping past the 'keeper to hit the base of the post.

51 min - Sam-Yorke holds off a defender in the left channel but his cross is too far ahead of the supporting players.

46 min - Gray certainly needed to do something at the break and it's a double substitution, with Warner and Finlay replacing Ogunbote and Raymond.

The formation remains 4-4-2, with Finlay at left-back and Rice switching to his more favoured right side. Smart has moved forward to the right wing, with Pattison in the middle and Warner on the left.

Half-time - Basingstoke Town 0 Maidenhead United 1

I hope nobody has brought their other half to The Camrose for a Valentine's Day celebration - it has been terrible fare. Maidenhead are a poor side but Town have been worse in the first half.

45 min - Maidenhead's Tom Baddeley is booked for a lunging challenge on Callum Reynolds.

41 min - Jay Gasson climbs well to head a free-kick back across goal but there is nobody in there to supply the finishing touch.

37 min - The game has gone into a bit of a lull, with neither side able to take control. Tom Williamson shoots well wide from long range.

25 min - Rice is booked for a foul in the centre of the park.

24 min - A good backheal by Jide Ogunbote gives Matt Pattison a great chance but he hits the post from point blank range.

22 min - Maidenhead defender Jamal Fyfield makes an important block on Delano Sam-Yorke, while at the other end, some poor defending gives Wall a sight at goal - but he blasts badly over the bar.

17 min - A nervous moment for Morris as Ashley Smith's attempted cross from the right flies over his head and goes narrowly wide.

14 min - Town have their first shot of the game, Matt Pattison firing in an effort from 20 yards that goes straight into the arms of visiting 'keeper Steve Williams.

7 min - Kieron St Aimie gets in behind the Town defence but Morris is out quickly to save at his feet.

Maidenhead goal - A terrible start for the home side, who fail to deal with a cross from the right. Alex Wall gets a header in and Cliff Akurang bravely launches himself at the ball to head home from close range.

4 min - GOAL - Basingstoke Town 0 Maidenhead United 1 (Akurang)

2 min - Looks like it's going to be 4-4-2 for Town, with Rob Rice at left-back, Nathan Smart at right-back and Raymond on the left side of midfield.

1 min - Basingstoke get the game underway and will shoot towards The Town End in the first half.

Team news - Frank Gray has made a number of changes to the side that lost 2-1 to Eastleigh on Saturday.

Defender Ross Adams and striker Greg Draper are not fit enough to play, while winger Matt Warner is not risked due to a knee injury.

Chay Morris starts in goal in the absence of Simon Locke, who has a thumb injury, while Reading youngster Frankie Raymond is handed a debut in midfield.

Town: Morris, Smart, Rice, Reynolds, Gasson, Ogunbote, Pattison, Williamson, Pratt, Sam-Yorke, Raymond. Subs: Lake, Laidler, Downes, Warner, Finlay.

Maidenhead: Williams, Solomon, Baddeley, Nichols, Fyfield, Rose, St Aimie, Powell, Akurang, Wall, Smith. Subs: Fagan, Collins, Barney, Lataille, Marshall.

Good evening and welcome to live updates from The Camrose, where Basingstoke Town will be looking to bounce back from successive defeats with a win over struggling Maidenhead United. Remember to keep refreshing!
