BASINGSTOKE triathlete Gareth Sylvester-Bradley claimed victory in the Eastleigh Open Water Triathlon.
The Lychpit man was among the leaders during the 400m swim, emerging from the water second before taking the lead during the transition to the cycling leg.
It was an advantage he was not to give up, either during the 10km cycling section or the final 5km run, eventually winning by more than a minute.
