A Basingstoke man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman in her 40s suffered serious injuries to her arm.
Police said the woman was taken to hospital for treatment following an incident at an address on Wentworth Crescent in Basingstoke on Saturday, April 20.
Officers were called at 3.32pm to the report of assault.
A 40-year-old man from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
He has been bailed with conditions until July 22, pending further enquiries.
