BASINGSTOKE RFC made the final of the Hampshire Vase, after visiting US Portsmouth pulled out out of their semi-final clash last Thursday.
this was because the Pompey side were unable to raise a team due to injuries.
They will face Millbrook in the final at the end of April, after they beat Fordingbridge in the other semi-final.
Stoke beat Millbrook 22-10 in December in the league and face them in their final league game of the season on March 30.
This will be seen as a dress rehearsal for the final.
This weekend, Stoke who head the Hampshire Premier table by 11 points return to league action and their quest to win the title.
They will be looking to make it 18 wins out of 18, when they travel to Fareham Heathens this Saturday.
When these sides met at Down Grange in November, the home side ran out 54-19 winners.
Also this weekend, in Hampshire One, Overton fifth in the table take on leaders Alton, while Chineham face a visit from Fawley in Hampshire Two.
Tadley Tigers are not in action in the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Premier.
Basingstoke's Adam Richards was part of the Hampshire under-20 side which lost to their Cornish counterparts 61-14 in the Under 20 County Championship Division 1 Pool 4, which was played at Havant.
