 (OVERTON VILLAGE CENTRE PARKING CONTROLS)
TRAFFIC ORDER 2016

Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Sections1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, proposes to make the following Order:

Title:-
The title of the Order, if made, will be The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (Overton Village Centre Parking Controls) Traffic Order 2016

The effect of the Order will be:-
1. To prohibit waiting along the sides of road specified in Schedule 1 to this Order (and listed below);

2. To limit waiting along the sides of road specified in Schedule 2 to this Order (and listed below);

3. To introduce a residents parking scheme along the lengths of road as specified in Schedule 3 below. Those lengths of road will also be designated limited waiting to those who are not permit holders.

4. List of addresses eligible for parking permits are as shown in Schedule 4 below.

5. Charges for parking permits are shown in Schedule 5 below.

6. To introduce disabled parking spaces as shown in Schedule 6 below.

7. To revoke specified sections of the Order shown in Schedule 7, to enable these provisions to take effect.

Objections:-
All objections and representations in respect of this proposal must be sent in writing to the Public Law Team by Friday,15th April 2016. Objections may be sent by email to the following address: communityservices@basingstoke.gov.uk. All objections must state the grounds on which they are made.
