ASSET OF COMMUNITY VALUE

The Mole Public House, Monk Sherborne Hampshire ("the Premises")
The premises are listed as an Asset of Community Value and therefore the community has rights of notification of a proposed disposal and to say if they wish to submit a bid to the owner for the property. The council takes the view that the proposed transaction may give rise to those rights.
Accordingly notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 95 of the Localism Act 2011 that the owner of the Premises intends to grant a three year lease of the Premises and that the lease will include an option to purchase the freehold.
Any party interested under the Act as a local community group who intends to bid for the purchase of the Premises must send notification in writing to the undersigned to arrive no later than 5.00pm on Thursday 25th September 2014. If such notification is received the interested party will then have until 14th February 2015 to submit a formal bid. The owner is under no obligation to accept a bid from a community group.
