LICENSING ACT 2003

An Application has been made to Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council for a new premises licence under section 17 of the Act by Tesco Stores Ltd, in respect of Tesco Stores Ltd, Popley Basingstoke Exp, Carpenters Down, Popley, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG24 9EL to sell alcohol from 06:00 to 23:00 hours, Monday to Sunday. The licensing register and a record of the application may be inspected at the offices of the Licensing Department, Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council/Civic Offices, Basingstoke, Hants RG21 4AH, during normal office hours and via website www.basingstoke.gov.uk.

Any representation by a responsible authority or an interested party must be made in writing to the council by 11/11/2014.

It is an offence for anyone to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is level 5 on the standard scale (£5000).
