THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND TEMPORARY SUSPENSION
OF ONE WAY TRAFFIC) (VARIOUS ROADS (20) HAMPSHIRE) ORDER 2014

Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, proposes to make the following Order:-

Reason for Order: The Council are satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted or prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road

Effect of Order: All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along:
1. Weston Corbett, Weston Corbett J/W Hackwood Lane to J/W Weston Road. Diversion route: Weston Road -Basingstoke Road (2-3 Days)

2. Long Cross Lane, Hatch Warren south of Balmoral Way for 50m Diversion route: Long Cross Lane - Woodbury Road -Long Cross Lane. (1-2 Days)

3. Mortimer Lane, Stratfield Saye J/W Fair Oak Lane to J/W Green Lane. Diversion route: Fair Oak Lane - Green Lane (4-5 Days)

4. St Johns Road, Oakley (Northern Bridge) J/W Oakley Lane to The Greenaways Diversion route: Oakley Lane -Fox Lane - B3400 Andover Road - Rectory Road - Hill Road - The Drive - St Johns Road. (1-2 Days)

5. St Johns Road, Oakley (Southern Bridge) from J/W The Drive to St Johns Cemetry Diversion roue: The Drive -Hill Road - St Johns Road (1-2 Days)

20. Ash Lane, Silchester from J/W Bramley Road to J/W Silchester Road Diversion route: Silchester Road - The Street -Minchens Lane - Bramley Road (1-2 Days)

as directed by traffic signs. Temporary Suspension

The Borough of Basingstoke (Chequers Road) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1971 shall be temporarily suspended along Chequers Lane between New Road and Goat Lane.
This is to allow for Hampshire County Council to carry out maintenance repairs

Duration of Order: The order will come into effect 23 June 2014 for 1 Year (notwithstanding, the closure is expected to be for the amount of days indicated above and will be displayed on road signs in advance)
