Basingstoke and dean - Black Dam Way and Renoir Close

THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) (BLACK DAM WAY AND RENOIR CLOSE, BASINGSTOKE) EXPERIMENTAL TRAFFIC ORDER 2015
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Sections 9 and10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, has made the following Order:-The effect of the Experimental Traffic Order, will come into force on 17 August 2015, and will be to restrict or prohibit parking on Black Dam Way and Renoir Close, Basingstoke, as further detailed in the schedules below. The reason for proceeding by way of an Experimental Traffic order is to assess the effects of the changes before consideration is given to whether the provisions of the Experimental Traffic order should be made permanent. A copy of the Experimental Traffic Order, a map showing its effects, a statement of the reasons for having made the Experimental Traffic Order may be inspected at the offices of the undersigned, during normal office hours. A copy of the Order can be viewed by visiting the Councils website basingstoke.gov.uk and clicking on Parking Controls via the A-Z index.
The experimental provisions can continue in force for a maximum of 18 months trial period before a permanent Order is considered. Within a period of 6 months from the coming into operation of the Experimental Traffic Order any person may object to the making of a permanent Order. Any objection should be in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and be addressed to the Head of Commissioning & Governance Officer at the address given below. Any comments in support of the Experimental Traffic order are also invited during this period.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Experimental Traffic Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Experimental Traffic Order was made, make application for this purpose to the High Court.
