The Basingstoke And Deane Borough Council (Temporary No Waiting at Any Time, One Way Streets, and 30mph Speed Restriction! Carfest, Nr Overton Order 2015
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-
Reason for Order: The Council is satisfied that traffic on those roads listed below should be restricted to ensure public safety for festival and local traffic during Carfest.

Effect of Order: No waiting at any time, one-way streets and speed restriction along B3400 London Road, C29 White Hill Road, C12 Waltham Lane/Road, Burley Lane, C226 Steventon Warren Lane and Berrydown Lane, as directed bysigns. A - No Waiting at Any Time
No waiting at any time, one-way streets and speed restriction along B3400 London Road, C29 White Hill Road, C12 Waltham Lane/Road, Burley Lane, C226 Steventon Warren Lane and Berrydown Lane, as directed bysigns.
(i) C29 White Hill Road, between its junctions with the A303 and Winchester Street, Overton Village.

(ii) C12 Waltham Road, between its junctions with Berrydown Lane and Burley Lane.

(iii) Burley Lane, between its junctions with C12 Waltham Lane and C226 Steventon Warren Lane.

(iv) C226 Steventon Warren Lane, between its junctions with the A303 and Burley Lane.

(v) Berrydown Lane, between its junctions with B3400 London Road and C12 Waltham Road.

B - One-Way Streets
(i) C12 Waltham Road - eastwards only - from its junction with Berrydown Lane to its junction with Burley Lane (approximate length of one-way = 600m).

(ii) Burley Lane - southwards only-from its junction with C12 Waltham Lane/Road to its junction with C226 Steventon Warren Lane (approximate length of one-way = 3100m)

(iii) C226 Steventon Warren Lane-southwards only-from its junction with Burley Lane to its junction with the A303 Slip road by Popham Airfield (approximate length of one-way=1300m)

(iv) C29 White Hill Road - northwards only - from a point approximately 300m north of its junction with the A303 to the entrance to the Test Valley Golf Club (approximate length of one-way = 2000m)

(v) C29 White Hill Road - southwards only - from the entrance to the Test Valley Golf Club to a point approximately 300m north of its junction with the A303 (approximate length of one-way = 2000m

C- Speed Restriction 30mph
(i) C12 Waltham Road -from its junction with Berrydown Lane to its junction with Burley Lane (approximate length = 600m).

(ii) Burley Lane - from its junction with Waltham Lane to its junction with C226 Steventon Warren Lane (approximate length = 3100m)

(iii) C226 Steventon Warren Lane -from its junction with Burley Lane to its junction with the A303 Slip road by Popham Airfield (approximate length =1300m)

(iv) C29 White Hill Road - from a point approximately 300m north of its junction with the A303 to the junction with Sapley Lane (approximate length 4000m)

Times and Dates:
A (i) to A (v) will apply from Fri 28/08/15
B(i), (ii), (iii) & (v) will apply from 20:00 on Fri 28/08/15 and from 17:00 on Sat 29/08/15
and Sun 30/08/15 and from 09:00 on Mon 31/08/15 B (iv) will apply from 07:00 between Fri 28/08/15 and Sun 30/08/15 C and (iii) will apply from 19:00 Thurs 27/08/15 C (iv) will applyfrom 00:01 on Sat 15/08/15 A (i) to A (v) will apply until Mon 31/08/15
B(i), (ii), (iii) & (v) will apply until 23:59 on Fri 28/08/15, until 23:59 on Sat 29/08/15,
until 23:59 on Sun 30/08/15 and until 13:00 on Mon 31/08/15 B (iv) will apply until 20:00 on Fri 28/08/15 and 17:00 on Sat 29/08/15 and Sun 30/08/15 C and (iii) will apply until 19:00 Mon 31/08/15 C (iv) will apply until 23:59 on Mon 07/09/15 Duration of Order
Duration of Order
The order will come into effect on 15 August 2015 for 1 month. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected the restrictions will commence from as detailed above).
