(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND
PARKING PLACES)
(VARIOUS ROADS) (URBAN) ORDER 2015

Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, has made the following Order:-

Title:-
The title of the Order, will be The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Parking Places) (Various Roads) (Urban) Traffic Order 2015

The effect of the Order will be:-
1. To prohibit waiting along the sides of road specified in Schedule 1 to the Order (and listed below);

2. To introduce a residents permit parking bay specified in Schedule 2 to the Order (and listed below)

3. To introduce waiting restrictions during certain hours with exceptions as specified in Schedule 5 to the Order (and listed below);

4. The addition of three disabled parking places along the sides of roads specified in Schedule 6 to the Order (and listed below);

5. To restrict waiting along the sides of road specified in Schedule 7 to the Order (and listed below);

6. To revoke the Order in so far as it relates to those lengths of road as specified in Schedule 8 to the Order.

Date of Operation:

This Order will come into operation on Friday 14^th August 2015.

Application to the High Court:
Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of those Sections or ofParts I, II, III or IV of Schedule 9 to the Actor any requirements made under the said Part III of Schedule 9 have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by 25^th September 2015 make application for the purpose to the High Court.

Those sections of the following roads as further detailed in the Order: Attwood Close, Hammond Road, Culver Road, Reading Road, Chineham Lane, Banbury Way, Speckled Wood Road, Charlbury Lane, Banbury Way Southern Spur Road, Faringdon Court, Oxford Way, Access Road to Everest Community College, St Andrews Road, Western Way.
