THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) (2) ORDER 2015
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46,124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and Sections 63 and 64 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 ("the Act of 1976") as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, has made the following Order:-
Title: - The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) (2) Order 2015 ("the Order").
The effect of the Order will be:-
1. To revoke the recently made Consolidation Order 2015 and all traffic regulation orders or parts of traffic regulation orders made before 1 June 2014 imposing the following restrictions:
(a) Prohibitions and restrictions of waiting, loading and unloading;
(b) Prohibitions of stopping,
(c) Loading areas,
(d) Restrictions on parking places (including disabled parking places and motor cycle parking places as they relate to roads in the Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council area as defined in the Order
2. To re-enact those restrictions in a new consolidated order
3. To make amendments to Residents Parking Schemes
4. To update charges for parking permits and for other on-street parking places, as shown below:

Date of operation:- This Order will come into operation on 21st August 2015.
Application to the High Court:- Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of those Sections or of Parts I, II, III or IV of Schedule 9 to the Act or any requirements made under the said Part III of Schedule 9 have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by 2nd October 2015 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
