THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (VICTORIA STREET, BASINGSTOKE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2014
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4, 5 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, has made the following Order:-Title:-
The title of the Order may be cited as "The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (Victoria Street, Basingstoke) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Order 2014". The effect of the Order will be:-
1. To prohibit waiting along the sides of road specified in Schedule 1 to this Order (and listed below);

2. To prohibit loading and unloading except by goods vehicles in the area of road specified in Schedule 2 to this Order.

3. To extend the Fairfields, Basingstoke Residents' Parking Scheme to include those lengths of roads as specified in Schedule 3 to this order. Further details of the aforementioned Residents' Parking Scheme can be found in the Order at Schedule 4 - see the Council website for further details.

4. Charges for residents and visitor's permits and charges for replacements and limitations as to refunds are detailed in Schedule 5 to this order

5. To revoke part of the order as detailed in Schedule 6. Date of operation:-

Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of those SectionsorofPartsI,II,IIIorIVofSchedule9totheActoranyrequirementsmadeunderthesaidPartIIIofSchedule9havenotbeen compliedwithinrelationtotheOrdermay,by2October2015makeapplicationforthepurposetotheHighCourt.
