THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES) (VARIOUS ROADS, BASINGSTOKE) ORDER 2015

Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 35 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, proposes to make the following Order:-

Title:-

The title of the Order, if made, will be The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (Disabled Persons Parking Places) (Various Roads, Basingstoke) Order 2015.

The effect of the Order will be:-

1. To remove two disabled parking bays in Renoir Close and one in Solby's Road, Basingstoke along the sides of road as further detailed within Schedule 5 of the Order;
2. To add one disabled persons' parking bay to Cliddesden Road, Basingstoke along the sides of road as further detailed within Schedule 1 to the Order.
3. The Solby's Road disabled parking bay which is to be removed will be included within the Rayleigh Road Residents Parking Scheme to allow the bay to be used as residents permit parking as further detailed within Schedule 2 to the Order.
4. To revoke The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) (2) Order 2015 in so far as it relates to those parts of Cliddesden Road, Renoir Close and Solby's Road, Basingstoke as further detailed within Schedule 5 to the Order, so to allow the above effects to take place.

All objections and representations in respect of this proposal must be sent in writing to the Local Government and Litigation Team by Friday, 11th December 2015. Objections may be sent by email to the following address: communityservices@basingstoke.gov.uk. All objections must state the grounds on which they are made.
