THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (VARIOUS ROADS, NO 5)

THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (VARIOUS ROADS, NO 5) ORDER 2016
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-
Reason for Order: The Council are satisfied that traffic on the following roads should be restricted or prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
Effect of Order: All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along those roads listed below, as directed by traffic signs. The closure is to allow for surface treatments.
1. Micheldever Road, Whitchurch, between Queens Road and Laverstoke Road

2. Mill Lane, Bramley, between Green Lane and Fair Oak Lane

3. Mill Lane, Bramley, between Fair Oak Lane and Sherfield Road

4. Ladylands Lane, Bramley, between Mill Lane and Mill Lane

5. Mortimer Lane, Bramley, between Fair Oak Lane and Park Lane

6. The Copse, Stratfield Saye, between Green Street and New Street

7. New Road, Pamber End, between A340 Aldermaston Road and Silchester Road Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 24 March 2016 for 7 months. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected each road closure will be for 2 days only) Alternative Route:

1. Via Winchester Street, B3400 and Laverstoke Lane

2. Via Green Lane and Fair Oak Lane

3. Via Sherfield Road and Folly Road

4. Via Mill Lane

5. Via Stratfield Saye, Barefoot Lane, Minchens Lane, Clappers Farm Road, Wall Lane and Park Lane

6. Via Green Lane and New Street

7. Via A340 Aldermaston Road, Bramley Road and Silchester Road
