THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) IMICHELDEVER ROAD, WHITCHURCH) ORDER 2015
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section
101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County
Council and in exercise of the powers under Sections1 2,4,5 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with
Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, has made the following Order:-
Title:-
This Order may be cited as "The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (Prohibition of Waiting) (Micheldever Road, Whitchurch) Order 2015".
The effect of the Order will be:-
1. To prohibit waiting along the sides of road specified in Schedule 1 to this Order (and listed below);
2. Torevoke the partofthe Consolidation Order in sofaras itrelates to Schedule 2 ofthis Order (and listed below).

This Order will come into operation on 15April 2015. Further information:-
Full details of this proposal are contained in the draft Order and together with the plans and statement of reasons can be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Parklands Reception, Civic Offices, London Road, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG21 4AH, or by visiting the Council's websiteatwww.basingstoke.go.uk/ptro.
Application to the High Court:-
Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Sections 1,2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of those Sections or of Parts I, II, III or IV of Schedule 9 to the Act or any requirements made under the said Part III of Schedule 9 have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by 27 May 2016 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
