THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL

(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) (JAYS CLOSE, VIABLES, BASINGSTOKE) ORDER 2016

Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Sections 1,2,4,5 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, has made the following Order:-
Title:-
The title of the Order, will be The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (Prohibition of Waiting) (Jays Close, Viables, Basingstoke) Order 2016
The effect of the Order will be:-
To prohibit waiting along the sides of road specified in Schedule 1 to this Order (and listed below);
Date of operation:-
This Order will come into operation on 22nd April 2016.
Application to the High Court:-
Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Sections 1,2,4,5 and124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, oronthegroundsthatanyrequirementofthoseSectionsorofPartsI,II, III orIVofSchedule9totheActorany requirementsmadeunderthesaidPartIII ofSchedule9havenotbeencompliedwithinrelationtotheOrder may, by 3rd June 2016 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
