TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2016
ROAD CLOSURE - BALFOUR ST, HIGHHOLM RD & ALDERWOOD RD, PORT
GLASGOW
The Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended which will restrict the use by all vehicles, except vehicles engaged in the carriageway maintenance works from 8.30am - 6pm on 12/06/16 in Balfour St full length, Highholm Rd from Balfour St to the station car park access and Alderwood Rd from Glen Ave to Ardenclutha Dr. These restrictions will only be effective when displayed by signs and cones in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002, as amended. Access to the station car park, emergency services & pedestrians will be maintained.
Alternative route:- Shore St to Highholm Rd via Shore St, Scarlow St, Fore St, A8 Greenock Rd, Clune Brae, Kilmacolm Rd, Boglestone Ave, Ardmore Rd, Springhill Rd, Highholm Rd & Vice Versa
Alderwood Rd to Shore St & Highholm Rd via Alderwood Rd, Glenpark Dr, Glen Ave, William St, Brown St, Shore St and as above to Highholm Rd.
