THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (SUMMER DOWN LANE, HANNINGTON) ORDER 2016
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshi re County Counci l i n exerci se of the powers of the sai d County Counci l and i n exerci se of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-
Reason for Order: The Council are satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted or prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
Effect of Order: All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along Summer Down Lane, Hannington, between its junction with Rectory Lane and its junction with Meadham Lane, as directed by traffic signs. The closure is to allow for tree work in the interests of highway safety
Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 04 August 2016 for 1 Month. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected the closure will be for 1 day only on 4 August 2016 between the hours of 09:00am - 15:00pm)
