(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (SHERIDAN CRESCENT. BAUGHURST)
ORDER 2013

Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:
Reason for Order: The Council are satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted or prohibited because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to works to be executed on or near the road.
Effect of Order: All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along Sheridan Crescent, Baughurst, between its eastern most junction with Bishopswood Lane and a point 100m north, as directed by traffic signs. The closure is to allow for the felling of trees.
Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 13th June 2013 for 1 month. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected the closure will commence from 19th June 2013 for approximately 2 days only).
Alternative Route: From the Western Entrance proceed via Sheridan Crescent and Bishopswood Lane and by this route reversed, as indicated by traffic signs. If you have any queries regarding the above please contact Mark Tinning on 01256 844844 on behalf of Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council.
