THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE)
(BINFIELDS FARM LANE. CHINEHAM) ORDER 2013
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-Reason for Order: The Council are satisfied that traffic on the footpath should be restricted or prohibited because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the footpath, which is not attributable to works to be executed on or near the footpath.
Effect of Order: All pedestrians will be prohibited from using the footpath along Binfields Farm Lane, Chineham approximately 90 metres as directed by signs. The closure is to allow for construction of housing development adjacent to the footpath.
Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 6th June 2013 for 6 months. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected the closure will commence from 17th June 2013).
