THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (BLOSWOOD LANE, WHITCHURCH) ORDER 2013
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council has made the following Order-Reason for Order: The Council are satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted or prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
Effect of Order: All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along Bloswood Lane, from its junction with Wells Lane to its junction with Hartley Meadow, as directed by traffic signs. The closure is to allow for maintenance of the railway bridge.
Duration of Order: The order comes into effect on 11th July 2013 for 3 months (notwithstanding it is expected the closure will start on 15th July and last for 5 days only).
Alternative Route: Via Wells Lane to the B3400 to Hurstbourne Priors to the B3048 to Harrow Way and then into Bloswood Lane and vice versa, as indicated by traffic signs.
