THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL(TEMPORARYFOOTPATH CLOSURES) (SOUTH HAM, BASINGSTOKE) ORDER 2013
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuantto arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers proposes to make the following Order: Reason for Order: The Council is satisfied that traffic on the footpaths should be restricted or prohibited because of the likelihood of danger to the public. Effect of Order: All pedestrians will be prohibited from travelling along the footpaths set out below as indicated by advanced warning signs. The closures are to allow for highway maintenance works.
Claythorpe Road Footpath - adjacent to 146 Pinkerton
Road to the rear of 40 Denham Drive.
Footpath South of Park View Infant School -
from the rear of 40 Denham Drive to the rear of 54 Denham Drive-Duration of Order: The Order will come into effect on 18 July 2013 for 2 months and all works are anticipated to be carried out within the school holiday period. Alternative Route: Pedestrians are to use the footpaths via Pinkerton Road, Brackley Way and Denham Drive whilst works are in progress.
