(VARIOUS ROADS) (RURAL)
(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING)
TRAFFIC ORDER 2013

Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Sections 1, 2,4,32, 35 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, proposes to make the following Order:
Title:-
The title of the Order, if made, will be The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (Various Roads) (Rural) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Traffic Order 2013
The effect of the Order will be:-
1.To prohibit waiting along the sides of road specified in Schedule 1 to the Order (and listed below);
2. To restrict waiting along the sides of road specified in Schedules 2 and 3 to the Order (and listed below);
3. To revoke the Order in so far as it relates to those lengths of road as specified in Schedule 4 to the Order. This will include revoking two disabled parking bays which are no longer required.

A copy of the draft Order together with the Plans and Statement of Reasons can be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Parklands Reception, Civic Offices, London Road, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG21 4AH, or by visiting the Council's website basingstoke.gov.uk and clicking on Parking Controls via the A-Z index. Obiections:-
All objections and representations in respect of this proposal must be sent in writing to the Public Law Team by Friday, 11th October 2013. Objections may be sent by email to the following address: communityservices@basingstoke.gov.uk. All objections must state the grounds on which they are made. SCHEDULE 2
NO WAITING MONDAY TO FRIDAY 8.30am-9.30am and 2.45pm-3.45pm

SCHEDULE 3
LIMITED WAITING 2 HOURS; NO RETURN WITHIN 2 HOURS; MONDAY TO FRIDAY
9.00am-5.00pm

SCHEDULE 4
The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (Consolidation Order) 2011 in so far as it relates to those sections of the following roads as further detailed in the Order:
Moat Close (service road), Bramley, The Severals, Sherborne St John (disabled parking bay) and Daniel Road, Whitchurch (disabled parking bay)
