BDBC Temp Rd Closure Yew Tree Lane

THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (YEW TREE LANE) ORDER 2013
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-Reason for Order: The Council is satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted or prohibited to allow BT Openreach to carry out cabling in boxes. Effect of Order: All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along Yew Tree Lane from the junction of Church Road to the junction of Chapel Street as directed by traffic signs. The closure is to allow for cabling works.
Duration of Order: The Order will come into effect on 10 October 2013 for one month. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will take place on 14 October 2013 only between the hours of 0930 and 1530.)
Alternative Route: Via Up Street, Maidenthorn Lane, Stockbridge Road, Popham Lane and by this route reversed, as indicated by traffic signs.
