(OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) (CASTONS CAR PARK AND CIVIC OFFICES CAR PARK)
ORDER 2013
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (the Council), pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of its own powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35 and Part IV of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act), and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act has made the following Order-
Title - This Order will be cited as The Basingstoke & Deane (Off Street Parking Places)(Castons Car Park and Civic Offices Car Park) Order 2013 (the Order)
The effect of the Order will be to: -
1. To amend the provision of parking in Castons Car Park to include Business Parking Permit Bays (car parking fees as stated below remain unchanged) and;
2. To amend hours of operation of permit parking in the Civic Offices Car Park to Monday to Sunday at all times.
Situation of Parking Places:
CASTONS
Duration of Stay + Charges (08:00 - 18:00, Monday -Saturday):
Up to 30 minutes - £0.50
Up to 1 hour - £1.00
1 to 2 hours - £1.70
2 to 3 hours - £2.10
3 to 4 hours - £2.60
4 to 5 hours - £3.30
5 to 6 hours - £3.90
Over 6 hours - £5.20
All day (pre-paid Park Card only) - £4.40
Duration of Stay + Charges (Monday-Sunday, 18:00 - 08:00)
Evening/Overnight Charge Per Visit - £1.00
Duration of Stay + Charges (08:00 - 18:00, Sunday)
Per Visit - £1.00
Type of Permit: Builders Dispensation Permit
Parking Place: As specified on the permit
Duration of Permit: One calendar month
Charge: £15.00
Type of Permit: Quarterly Business Parking Permit

Duration of Permit: Three calendar months
Charge: £185
Type of Permit: Replacement Permits
Parking Place: As per original permit

Application to the High Court:- Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of those Sections or of Parts I, II, III or IV of Schedule 9 to the Act or any requirements made under the said PartIII of Schedule 9 have not been complied with in relation to the Ordermay, by Friday 6th December 2013 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
