THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (THORNFORD ROAD. HEADLEY)
ORDER 2013
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order
Reason for Order: The Council are satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted or prohibited because of the likelihood of danger to the public
Effect of Order: All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along Thornford Road, to Crookham Common, southwards for approximately 200 metres, as directed by traffic signs. The closure is to prevent vehicular use of the Ford.
Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 28th November 2013 for 12 months.
Alternative Route: From Thornford Road, proceed along Crookham Common to the A339 Newbury Road, to C111 Ashford Hill Road and Thornford Road, Headley, to the Southern side of the closure, or by this route reversed, as indicated by traffic signs.
