THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (VARIOUS ROADS (2), HAMPSHIRE)
ORDER 2014

Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order
Reason for Order: The Council are satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted or prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
Effect of Order: All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along:
1. Oakley Lane, Oakley under the railway bridge. The anticipated closure is for 1 day.
2. Church Road, Mortimer West End from the bridge to the Red Lion Pub. The anticipated closure is for 1-3 days.
3. Pamber Heath Road, Tadley from its junction with West Street to its junction with Church Road. The anticipated closure is for 1-3 days.
4. Ramsdell Road, Wolverton from its junction with the A339 to its junction with Baughurst Road. The anticipated closure is for 1-3 days.
The closure is to allow Hampshire County Council to carry out maintenance repairs.
Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 9 January 2014 for 12 months.
Alternative Route:
1. St Johns Road, The Drive, Hill Road, Oakley Lane.
2. Welshmans Road, Reading Road, Soke Road, Wall Lane, Church Road.
3. Silchester Road, Mulfords Hill A340, Rowan Road.
4. Baughurst Road, Wolverton Road, Crabs Hill, A339 Kingsclere Road.
