THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES AND SPEED RESTRICTIONS) (VARIOUS ROADS (43), BASINGSTOKE) ORDER 2014
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-
Reason for Order: The Council are satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted or prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. The order is to allow for surface treatments. Effect of Order: All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along:-
1. Burley Lane, Overton, from the junction with B3400 London Road to Waltham Lane. Diversion route - Proceed via Waltham Road and then onto Waltham Lane.

2. Ashe Lane, Overton from the junction with B3400 London Road to Nutley Bottom Lane.

Diversion route - Proceed via London Road onto Andover Road onto Ivy Down Lane and then onto Summer Down Lane.
3. Kingsdown Lane, Overton from the junction with the Polhampton Farm (Road) to junction with Nutley Bottom Lane. Diversion Route - B3400 London Road onto Manor Farm Lane and then onto Nutley Bottom Lane.

4. Sapley Lane, Overton from the junction with Winchester Street to the junction with Greyhound Lane. Diversion Route - Proceed via Winchester Street and then onto Greyhound Lane.

5. Berrydown Lane, Overton from the junction with B3400 London Road to Berrydown Farm. No diversion possible. Access only to houses.

6. Bushywarren Lane, Ellisfield from the A339 Alton Road to the junction with Church Lane.

Diversion Route - Proceed via A339 Alton Road onto Bagmore Lane, Bell Lane, College Lane and then onto Church Lane.
7. College Lane, Ellisfield from the junction with Church Lane to the junction with Berrydown Lane. Diversion Route - Proceed via Church Lane, Furzen Lane, Green Lane and then onto Berrydown Lane.

8. Church Lane, Ellisfield from the junction with College Lane to the junction with Green Lane. Diversion Route - Proceed via College Lane, Berrydown Lane and then onto Green Lane.

9. Grammarsham Lane, Farleigh Wallop from the junction with Northgate Lane to the junction with the B3046 Farleigh Road. Diversion Route - Proceed via Northgate Lane, Green Lane, Berrydown Lane and then onto the B3046 Farleigh Road.

10. Baymans Lane, Hoddington from the junction with Lees Hill to its end. No diversion possible. Access only to houses.

11. Fox Lane, Oakley from the junction with Pack Lane to the junction with the B3400 Andover Road. Diversion Route - Proceed west via Pack Lane and onto the B3400 Andover Road.

12. Winchester Road, Whitchurch from the junction with the A34 off slip at Tufton to the junction with the B3400 Roundabout on Church Street. Diversion Route - Proceed via the B3400 Church Street, B3400 London Road and onto Paper Mill Lane.

13. South Ham Road, Basingstoke from the junction with Sandys Road to 200m East of Sandys Road. Diversion Route - Proceed via Worting Road onto Sandy Road.

14. Andover Road, Whitchurch from the junction with The Middleway to the junction with the B3048 Longparish Road.

Diversion Route - Proceed via the B3048 Longparish Road onto the B3420 Winchester Road onto the A3057 Winchester Road onto the A3057 Eastern Avenue onto the A3057 East Street onto the A3057 New Street onto the A3093 Churchill Way and onto the B3400 London Road.
15. B3400 Andover Road, Hurstbourne Priors from the junction with the B3048 Longparish Road to the junction with Paper Mill Lane.

Diversion Route - Proceed via the B3048 Longparish Road onto the B3420 Winchester Road onto the A30 Stockbridge Road onto the A30 Bypass Road onto Stockbridge Road onto Whitehill Road and onto the B3400 London Road.
16. Aldermaston Road South, Basingstoke from the junction with the Ringway Roundabout to the junction with the Houndsmill Roundabout. Diversion Route - Proceed via the A340 Ringway Roundabout onto Oakridge Road onto Sherborne road and onto Kingsclere Road.

17. Olivers Lane, Bramley from the junction with Stratfield Saye Road to the junction with Sherfield Road. Diversion Route - Proceed via Bramley Lane onto Sherfield Road.

18. Park Lane, Mortimer from the junction with Pitfield Lane to the junction with Mortimer Lane.

Diversion Route - Proceed via Mortimer Lane onto Stratfield Saye Road onto Barefoot Lane onto Minchens Lane onto Clappers Farm Lane and onto Wall Lane
19. Elm Road, Sherborne St. John from the junction with the A340 Aldermaston Road to the junction with Cranes Road. Diversion Route - Proceed via the A340 Aldermaston Road onto Cranes Road and onto Vyne Road.

20. Morgaston Road, Bramley from the junction with Vyne Road to the junction with the A340. Diversion Route - Proceed via Vyne Road onto Cranes Road and onto the A340 Aldermaston Road.

21. Evingar Road, Whitchurch from the junction with Station Road to the junction with Lower Evingar Road. Diversion Route - Proceed via Station Road onto Newbury Road and onto Oakland Road.

22. Harroway, Whitchurch from the junction with Newbury Road to the junction with Priory Lane.

Diversion Route - Proceed via Newbury Road onto Newbury Street onto the B3400 London Road and onto Priory Lane.
23. Priory Lane, Whitchurch from the junction with London Road to the junction with Harroway. Diversion Route - Proceed via London Road onto Twinley Lane and onto Harroway.

24. B3046 Farleigh Road, Basingstoke from the junction with Bryces Lane to the junction with the Woolpack Inn, Totford.

Diversion Route - Proceed via the B3046 Farleigh Road onto the A339 Alton Road onto the A31 Alton By-Pass onto the A31 Winchester Road onto the B3047 Bishops Sutton Road onto the B3046 Broad Street and onto the B3046 Basingstoke Road.
25. B3046 Farleigh Road, Basingstoke from the junction with Farleigh Lane to the junction with the Woods Lane.

Diversion Route - Proceed via the B3046 Farleigh Road onto the A339 Alton Road onto the A31 Alton By-Pass onto the A31 Winchester Road onto the B3047 Bishops Sutton Road onto the B3046 Broad Street and onto the B3047 Basingstoke Road.
26. Whitehill Road, Basingstoke from the junction with the A303 Slip Road to the junction with Sapley Lane.

Diversion Route - Proceed via Stockbridge Road onto Laverstoke Lane onto the B3400 London Road onto the High Street and onto White Hill Road.
27. Crockford Lane, Basingstoke from the junction with the A33 to the end of the road. No diversion possible. Access only to houses.

28. Beggarwood Lane, Basingstoke from the junction with the A30 Winchester Road to the junction with the Woodbury Roundabout/Cliddesden Lane. Diversion Route - Proceed via the A30 Winchester Road onto Wallop Drive onto Long Cross Lane and onto Woodbury Road.

29. Chiltern Way, Basingstoke from the junction with the B3400 Worting Road to the junction with Alpine Court. Diversion Route - Proceed via the B3400 Worting Road onto Buckskin Lane and onto Chiltern Way.

30. Culver Road, Basingstoke from the junction with Wessex Close to the junction with Cordale Road. Diversion Route - Proceed via Wessex Close onto Winchester Road and onto Cordale Road.

31. Wessex Close, Basingstoke from the junction with Winchester Road to the school entrance at the end of road. No diversion possible. Access only to houses.

32. Holbein Close, Basingstoke from the junction with Black Dam Way to the end of the cul-de-sac. No diversion possible. Access only to houses.

33. Renoir Close Basingstoke from the junction with Black Dam Way to the end of the cul-de-sac. No diversion possible. Access only to houses.

34. Van Dyck Close, Basingstoke from the junction with Black Dam Way to the end of the cul-de-sac. No diversion possible. Access only to houses.

35. Neville Close, Basingstoke from the approach to Cliddesden Road to the end of the road including the loop road and the spur. No diversion possible. Access only to houses.

36. Stocker Close, Basingstoke from the junction with Sheppard Road to the end of the cul-de-sac and the junction with Ferguson Close. No diversion possible. Access only to houses.

37. Twinley Lane, Whitchurch from the junction with Cole Henley to the junction with the B3400 London Road. Diversion Route - Proceed via the B3400 London Road onto Harroway onto Newbury Road and onto Cole Henley.

38. A339 Ringway East, Basingstoke from the junction with the A33 Reading Road Slip Road Southbound to the Blackdam Roundabout. Diversion Route - Proceed via the A30 Ringway south onto the A340 Ringway West and onto the A339 Ringway North.

39. Heath End Road, Basingstoke from the junction with Chalkpit Road to the junction with Ball Hill Road. Diversion Route - Proceed via Stargrove Lane onto Abbey Wells Road onto Woolton Hill Road and onto Ball Hill Road.

Signage will be erected giving specific times where appropriate at the time of the closure. However, the closure will not exceed the hours of 08:00 to 18:00.
Temporary 40 mph speed restrictions will be imposed along;-
1. A33 Reading Road SW Bound C'way from the Great Binfields Roundabout to the Crockford Lane Roundabout.

2. A33 Reading Road NE Bound C'way from the Crockford Lane Roundabout to the Great Binfields Roundabout.

3. A33 Reading Road from the A339/A33 Reading Road Roundabout to the Crockford Lane Roundabout.

4. A33 Reading Road from the Crockford Lane Roundabout to the A339/A33 Reading Road Roundabout.

5. Burley Lane, Overton, from the junction with B3400 London Road to Waltham Lane.

6. Ashe Lane, Overton from the junction with B3400 London Road to Nutley Bottom Lane.

Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 23 January 2014 for 12 months. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected that each closure and restriction will be for a period of 4 days only throughout the duration of the order.)
