THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
(VARIOUS ROADS (NUMBER 3) HAMPSHIRE) ORDER 2014
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-
Reason for Order: The Council is satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted or prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
Effect of Order: All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along various roads as indicated below:-
1. Hockford Lane, Ashford Hill with Headley, from B3051 Ashford Hill Road to County Boundary and 2m past junc. Diversion route - B3051 Ashford Hill, Ashford Hill Road, Woodhouse Lane.
2. Heathrow Copse, Baughurst PC, from the junction with Brimpton Road, to end of cul-de-sac. No diversion available.

Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 5 March 2014 for 1 year. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected each road will be closed for approximately 2 days only at each location. With the exception of emergency works, all closures will be publicised a minimum of 2 weeks in advance and diversion routes will be signed).
