THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY REVOCATION OF ONE WAY TRAFFIC) (VARIOUS ROADS (1), BASINGSTOKE) ORDER 2014
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, proposes to the following Order:-
Reason for Order: The Council are satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted or prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
Effect of Order: There will be a temporary revocation of the one-way street regulations on the below mentioned roads to assist with traffic management during highway maintenance works:
1. Winchester Street, Basingstoke, between New Street and Market Place.
2. Cross Street, Basingstoke, between Church Street and New Street.
3. Church Street, Basingstoke, between Market Place and Cross Street.
Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 20st March for 3 months.
