THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
(PURCELL CLOSE, BRIGHTON HILL-BASINGSTOKE)
ORDER 2014
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council proposes to make the following Order:-
Reason for Order: The Council is satisfied that traffic on the footpath should be prohibited because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to works to enable gas main replacement.
Effect of Order: All pedestrians will be prohibited from travelling on the footpath to the side of 1 Purcell Close, front of 1-8, side of garage blocks and between 9-12 Purcell Close and 49-52 Grainger Close.
Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 4 April 2014 for 3 months. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected the closure will be from 4 April to 22 April 2014 only).
Alternative Route: Pedestrians are advised to follow the signed diversion routes.
