THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2014
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (the Council), pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of its own powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35 and Part IV of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act), and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act proposes to make the following Order-
Title - This Order, if made, will be cited as The Basingstoke and Deane (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2014 (the Order)
The effect of the Order will be to -
1) To rename Business permits as Season Ticket permits and introduce half yearly and yearly Season Ticket permits in all locations listed below
2) To vary Castons Yard car park from 30 minute maximum stay to 3 hour maximum stay
3) To introduce a minimum refund amount on all surrendered permits
4) To revoke The Basingstoke & Deane (Off Street Parking Places)(Castons car park and Civic Offices car park) Order 2013
5) To update the Council's off-street car parking charges as summarised below;
