THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY REVOCATION OFTHE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL BOUNTY ROAD AND HAWKFIELD LANE ORDER 1989 BOUNTY ROAD, BASINGSTOKE) ORDER 2014
THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY REVOCATION OFTHE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL BOUNTY ROAD AND HAWKFIELD LANE ORDER 1989 BOUNTY ROAD, BASINGSTOKE) ORDER 2014
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Part lV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-
Reason for Order: The Council is satisfied that the 'Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council Bounty Road and Hawkfield Lane Order 1989' should be partially revoked because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
Effect of Order: Suspension of existing one way (westbound) traffic order along Bounty road between junctions with Council Road and Winchester Road. The closure is to allow for highway maintenance
Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 08 May 2014 for 3 months (notwithstanding the above it is expected the revocation will be for 2 weekends within the period of the order and as displayed on signs in advance)
Alternative Route: Traffic will exit towards Council Road as Winchester Road will be closed for resurfacing
