THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL

THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES) (VARIOUS ROADS) ORDER 2014
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 35, 46 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") as amended by the Road Traffic Regulation (Parking) Act 1986, Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, has made the following Order:-Title:-
The title of the Order is The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (Disabled Persons Parking Places) (Various Roads) Order 2014.
The effect of the Order is:-
1 To designate those areas of road specified in Schedule 1 to the Order (and 2 outlined below) as disabled persons parking places.
To revoke those Orders to the extent specified and listed in Schedule 2 to the Order, as summarised below.
Date of operation:-
This Order will come into operation on 20th November 2014.

Full details of this Order, together with the Plans and a copy of the Order as made may be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Parklands Reception, Civic Offices, London Road, Basingstoke, Hampshire RG21 7EA. Details are also available on the Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council website at www.basingstoke.gov.uk/go/PTRO. Application to the High Court:-
Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 32, 35, 46 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of those Sections or of Parts I, II, III or IV of Schedule 9 to the Act or any requirements made under the said Part III of Schedule 9 have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by 24th December 2014 make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE 1 DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES Those sections of the roads listed below as set out in more detail in the Order and accompanying plans:
Rochford Road (Brookvale and Kings Furlong), Solby's Road (Brookvale and Kings Furlong), Millard Close (Norden), Buckingham Court (Kempshott).
SCHEDULE 2 REVOCATIONS
The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (Consolidation) Order 2011 insofar as it relates to the restrictions currently in force on those sections of the roads listed below as set out in more detail in the Order and accompanying plans;
Solby's Road (Brookvale and Kings Furlong), Rochford Road (Brookvale and Kings Furlong), Copland Close (Brighton Hill North), George Street (Brookvale and Kings Furlong), Westray Close (Norden), Millard Close (Norden).
