THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL

THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (STOKE LANE, HURSTBOURNE PRIORS) ORDER 2015
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order: Reason for Order: The Council is satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted or prohibited in order to allow for detailed bridge examination. Effect of Order: All traffic will be prohibited from travelling 20 metres either side of bridge structure BAE1 E4/173 Hurstbourne viaduct Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 19th January 2015 for 1 week (notwithstanding that it is expected the closure will be between 22:00 19th January 2015 - 06:00 20th January 2015).
