THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (B3400 ANDOVER ROAD, OAKLEY BASINGSTOKE) ORDER 2015

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council proposes to make the following Order-

Reason for Order: The Council are satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted or prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.

Effect of Order: All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along the B3400 Andover Road, Oakley for a 5 metre length on each side of the railway bridge, as directed by traffic signs. The closure is to allow for railway bridge repairs.

Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 12 March 2015 for 3 months.

Closure times and duration: Weekday closures will commence on 16 March 2015 between the hours of 21:00 and 05:30 and notwithstanding the above, the works are expected to take approximately 5 weeks.

Alternative Route: From the B3400, proceed along B3051 Kingsclere Road, Swan Street, George Street, A339, Roman Road and then the B3400, as indicated by traffic signs.
