The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council

THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (ASHE LANE, ASHE) ORDER 2015
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-
Reason for Order: The Council are satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted or prohibited because of the likelihood of danger to the public Effect of Order:
Closure - All traffic will be prohibited from travelling Ashe Lane, Ashe, as indicated by traffic signs. The closure is to allow for a detailed bridge examination.
Alternative Route: Ashe Lane, B3400, Manor Farm Lane, Ashe Warren, Ashe Lane
Duration of Order: The Order will come into effect on 29 April 2015 from 22:00pm to 06:00am for 1 month. Notwithstanding the above it is expected the closure will be from 29 April to 30 April 2015 only)
The exemptions under S 87 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Road traffic exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and amendment) Regulations 2011 apply to this order.
