The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (Temporary Road Closure) fSwan Street, Kingsclere) Order 2015
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-Reason for Order: The Council is satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted or prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. Closure - All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along Swan Street, Kingsclere, from Park House Stables south towards White Hill Car Park, as indicated by traffic signs. The closure is to allow for access to carriageway box for cabling and jointing. Alternative Route: Swan Street, A339, Roman Road, B3400, B3051 or by this route reversed.

Duration of Order: The Order will come into effect on 3 May 2015 for 1 month. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected the closure will be on 3 May 2015 from 08:00am -16:00pm only) The exemptions under S 87 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Road traffic exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and amendment) Regulations 2011 apply to this order.
