Temporary Footpath Closure St Johns Road Footbridge Oakley

The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (Temporary Footpath Closure) (St Johns Road Footbridge, Oakley) Order 2015
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council proposes to make the following Order:-
Reason for Order: The Council is satisfied that pedestrians on the footbridge should be prohibited because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to works to allow for repair/ maintenance.
Effect of Order: All pedestrians will be prohibited from using the entire footbridge (approx. 30 m) whilst works take place.
Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 18 May 2015 for 6 months. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected the closure will be completed within 2 weeks.). Alternative Route: Pedestrians are advised to follow the signed diversion routes. If you have any queries regarding the above please contact John Meacher on 01962 846918
