The Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (Temporary Road Closure) (Pack Lane, Oakley) Order 2015
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-
Reason for Order: The Council is satisfied that traffic proceeding along Pack Lane, Oakley, be prohibited to allow for detailed bridge examination. Effect of Order:
Closure - All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along Pack Lane, Oakley, 10m either side of the rail bridge, as indicated by traffic signs.
Alternative Route: Pack Lane, B3400 Andover Road, Buckskin Lane, Pack Lane. Duration of Order: The Order will come into effect on 15 May 2015 between the hours of 10:00pm - 06:00am for 1 month. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected the closure will be from 15 May to 16 May 2015 only)
The exemptions under S 87 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Road traffic exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and amendment) Regulations 2011 apply to this order.
