THE BASINGSTOKE AND DEANE BOROUGH COUNCIL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (VARIOUS ROADS (NUMBER 1) HAMPSHIRE) ORDER 2015
Notice is hereby given that Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council pursuant to arrangements made under Section 101 of the Local Government Act 1972 with Hampshire County Council in exercise of the powers of the said County Council and in exercise of the powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-
Reason for Order: The Council is satisfied that traffic on the following roads should be restricted or prohibited because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads.
Effect of Order: All traffic will be prohibited from travelling along those roads listed below, as directed by road signs. The closures are due to carriageway resurfacing:-
1. Jays Close, Basingstoke - Between the Harrow Way and Skippetts Lane.

2. The Harrow way, Basingstoke - Between Hatch Warren Way & Grove Road.

3. Grove Road, Basingstoke - Between The Harrow Way & Hackwood Road.

4. A340 Ringway West (southbound only) Basingstoke -Between Churchill Way West & Ringway North.

5. A33 Basingstoke Road, Turgis Green - 100m south and north of Bottle Lane.

6. Popley Way, Basingstoke - Between Carpenters Down & A33 Reading Road.

7. Hatch Warren Lane, Basingstoke - Between The Harrow Way & Sullivan Road.

8. Cranbourne Lane, Basingstoke - Between The Harrow Way & Sheppard Road.

9. London Road, Basingstoke - Between New Road & Eastrop Lane.

10. Winchester Street, Overton - Between London Road & Greyhound Lane.

11. Cliddesden Road, Basingstoke - Between The Harrow Way & Sheppard Road.

12. Soke Road, Silchester - Between Pamber Road & Aldermaston Road.

13. Baughurst Road, Baughurst- Between Wolverton Farm, Ramsdell Road & Ham Lane.

14. Goat Lane, Basingstoke - Goat Lane.

15. Greyhound Lane, Overton - Between Winchester Street & Sapley Lane.

16. The Harrow Way, Basingstoke - Between Hatch Warren Way & Brighton Way.

17. Chapel Hill, Basingstoke - Between Kingsclere Road & Alencon Link.

18. Sherborne Road, Basingstoke - Between Kingsclere Road & Burgess Road.

20. Coopers Lane, Bramley - Between Sherfield Road & end of Cul-de-sac.

Duration of Order: The order will come into effect on 26 May 2015 for 18 months. In all cases the dates and durations of each closure will be displayed on advance warning signs. The exemptions under S 87 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and The Road traffic exemptions (Special Forces) (Variation and amendment) Regulations 2011 apply to this order.
