BUDDING young film-makers can create their own moments of magic and learn the tricks of the trade in workshops at Milestones Museum this weekend.
Basingstoke-based 7 Stream Media, which has offices at The Beresford Centre in Wade Road, is teaming up with the Strong Island Media, from Southsea, to guide keen future directors through a range of film techniques, on Saturday January 5, and Sunday January 6.
Those taking part, aged between eight and 16, can use the green-screen to learn amazing techniques such as travelling through time and making themselves disappear.
They can try being in front of the camera or behind it at the magic of TV Film Workshops.
Places should be booked in advance costing £10 each for a one hour 30 minute workshop.
There will be the opportunity to buy a DVD of your results for £5.
The workshops begin at 12.30 and 2.30pm each day.
These workshops build on the popular MAGIC season at Milestones.
Entry fees to the museum is waived for youngsters taking part in the Magic of TV Film Workshops only.
